What’s your word?

We talked a couple of weeks ago about renewing our minds by associating certain everyday words with scriptural background. We looked at the word finished and the fact that it was one of the last words spoken by Christ before His death which points us toward the cross and Christ’s love for us. I use the word finished a lot, I finish things all the time, why not be reminded of His sacrifice and love for me. So what’s your word make a post here and let us know…

Are you ready?

So what are your thoughts about “The Church” are you ready to wholly commit to being part of God’s Machine?  Just wanted to start a candid discussion of your thoughts from this past sunday’s message at Ethos…

Does this define us?

Hopeful but cynical. Passionate but distracted. Ready to change the world but a little numb. Hyper-connected but lonely. Our generation is defined by contradiction and contrast.
